in Manitoba. Owner : Wayne Posnik:
My producer whom also plays mandolin on a couple tunes off "LET IT SHINE" © 2005 . Matt Moskalyk who is so versatile, plays drums , bass, lead guitars, dobro & acoustic 12 & 6 string .
Elaine Markwart Sings! Just listen to her! She also plays bango on a couple songs off "LET IT SHINE © 2005."

These friends have made recording a lot of fun. Working with such talent has allowed these albums to tell my stories & message of Hope.
Sure I write the lyrics & song but these folks make it complete. Grateful to work with them all.

Grateful To Be Alive. "Spirits Lost + Found I'm tryin
My music is influenced by my past experiences in life! I left home at the age of 15 . I spent many years hitch hiking all over the U.S.A & Canada. I found myself in an alcoholic & drug crazed world, that I like to call the Morbid Maze !!
I have been given a gift of music which I almost lost along with my Life . I write songs that may bring Hope to those whom suffer from these deadly diseases and to the people whom have lost Loved ones. They are stories of my Life , Then & Now.
All I want to be is a person that doesn't take anything for Granted . I have been given a 2nd chance . I'll keep doing what I'm doing . I've had alot of people thanking me for what I do .
I am right out there in the heat of it all.
I have no fear of what's to come, as long as I keep upon
this road I'm on .
I've been told I have a unique style, with my fingers & my voice .
Gratefull To Be Alive
Raymond Allan Kuran
The things I had done yesterday can not be rewritten. I can only ask forgiveness from others.
As of today I am able to Forgive others, remain clean from my addictions and live resentment free.
At times it is tryin. At times I may think of a needle or a drink.
I am Grateful I have not had to since Dec 9th 1999.
May You Find a way to become Free and walk away from your Morbid Maze
You are gifted as we all are. No matter what some may say.
May We walk out from the Darkness and Clear away any Delusions .
Together we can journey from the Darkness of Despair To the Light of Hope. I can only pray that My Message
of Hope for Addictions may have inspired you, as I
have been inspired by so many, in my journey thus far.
I continue to play and write. I look forward to the recording of a fourth album.
I'd be Grateful to Hear From You.
Feel Free to email me. To share Your Journey or

PRLog (Press Release) Apr 16, 2009 Exerpt of A Personal Bog Entry by Raymond Allan Kuran I found at http://hopefoundinmusic.blogspot.com
Well worth reading and Listening to. It Really Moved Me so I wanted to share this with everyone!
"As the story was told and have read about this particular Man. The song " Tall Man" I wrote a few years back . Hoping to bring a glimpse of Hope to all. To just think a moment when we see a person on the street. Who is He or She??
Down and Out. Lost in Despair after the War . Alcohol was His only companion.( Clean myself of Alcohol + the Dreaded Needle since Dec 9th 1999. I know how it feels to be in the " Morbid Maze" of the streets, and how one is looked upon .
I do understand the way of this thinking . Prejudice and I can relate why. For If I said I never Pre Judged someone or something I would be the only one in this World I would Think.?
The story is tragic. Not only in How People Look at the Down and Out. The way we never really stop to think at times. " My Lord that person was Who??
You mean He was one of the Most Decorated Soldiers after the 2nd War.
On a day of reflection. I was thinking about a Soldier " Sgt Tommy Prince ". A First Nations Gentleman of MB Canada. The song sends a message to all whom may have felt this way at sometime in their Life.
To all whom are in the War or Your Loved Ones at Home. I Grant to You and Yours with Respect + Honor > The song " TALL MAN 2004"

Raymond Allan Kuran is a Canadian Singer / Songwriter / Recording Artist and an ex Addict and Alcoholic which extended over a large portion of his life. Rays has been clean since his last Detox December 9 / 1999.
During the course of his life in the Morbid Maze of addictions Ray contracted HepC which was formally diagnosed in 1991. In 2001 after consultation with the medical staff at the Winnipeg Manitoba Health Sciences Center Viral Clinic, Ray entered into a six month treatment regime of self injection of Rebetron and anti viral medications. This was a new treatment at the time and Raymond states "I don't think I could have made it through without the Spiritual Strength found, and taking the steps that were suggested in the program by the support group." To this day the HepC remains dormant.
Today Ray is personally committed to offering personal help and support to those suffering from addictions and their loved ones afflicted by the diseases of alcoholism and drug addiction. Through his Gift of Music Ray hopes to create more public awareness of the fact that those suffering from Addictions are indeed Victims of a Deadly Disease. And not simply weak, selfish, unproductive individuals. This message is clearly portrayed in Tall Man a song dedicated to Sgt. Tommy Prince a Canadian Native War Hero.
The public statistics of the death rate pertaining to Addictions are staggering, and Ray alludes to the countless number of his "brothers and sisters of the road who failed to make it out of their morbid maze of Addiction Alive.
In so doing Ray has created two websites;
http://raymondallankuran.110mb.com Hope Found In Music for Addictions (dial up)
http://raymondallankuran.com The Morbid Maze of Addiction (high speed)
Here he freely shares his music and lyrics from his three album releases "Spirits Lost +Found" "Not In Vain" and "Let It Shine" with free downloads available at his Sonicbids EPK Profile. The music reveals the Brutal Realities of his Personal Life Experiences as an Addict and offers Inspirational Songs for Addicts and their Loved Ones.
"Spirits Lost + Found"©2003 was recorded in Rays home studio and was completed with Perry Acorn on lead guitar and bass, which added a deep soulful country sound to Rays songs. The success of this trial recording set in motion the releases of the other two albums, both drawing from Rays vast personal experiences and his collection of music written, dating back to the early seventies and up to and including music written in 2005.
"Not In Vain"©2004 and "Let It Shine"© 2005 where recorded and produced by Wayne Posnik, Owner operator of Grassroots Sound Studios in Manitoba Canada. Wayne was also a contributing musician along with Matt Moskalyk, Ken Bialek and Elaine Markwart.
Ray stated If one life is saved or comfort can be found by those afflicted by the diseases then it has been all worthwhile".
Apart from his websites Ray continues to offer personal help and support to Addicts and their families and friends, through personal contact, webrings and his Personal Blog
http://hopefoundinmusic.blogspot.com.
I feel honored to have been given the opportunity to have met this extraordinary man, experiencing firsthand the depth of his selfless commitment and compassion for others.
Rays courage in sharing his deepest most intimate and personal experiences publicly is to be admired. I urge you to take the time to visit his sites to read his writings and lyrics and listen to his powerful message portrayed through his music.
I have been given a gift of music which I almost lost along with my life. I write songs that may bring Hope to those whom suffer from these deadly diseases and to the people who have lost loved ones. They are the stories of my life, Then & Now.
Few of us will travel through our own personal journeys without being touched in our own or lives of others affected by these Deadly Diseases of Addiction. Please share Rays sites with anyone you may know who might find inspiration and comfort from his brilliant works.
