Days of joy were often told. A young man dreams of ones

His age appears upon his face. A lust for life a MORBID MAZE !!
A jug or two will fill the place where once a boy and Spirit grazed. Spirit Gone, Gone Astray.

Forgiveness
Sometimes forgiveness, don't
come easy. Seems there's
always a price to be paid.
Seems the past, has a way

I wish it was as easy as the

He drifted like a tumbleweed blowin' in the wind across the
countryside searchin' for within. Once in a while he'd be caught up in the barbed wire fence again.
Year after year his mind would slowly fade, not often
rememberin' when or where he'd been, or if he'd been
there at all and seen the things he'd seen?
After awhile still blowin in the wind they'd stop to visit with some friends. They'd open up the door and answer with a grin. They'd tell him you're not welcome here anymore.
He'd pick up his grip and wonder what's with them?
Not often rememberin' what he'd done, or where he'd been, or what he'd said to them back then. Some time ago back when?
Not often rememberin' when, or where he'd been. Or if he'd even seen the thing he'd seen?
Fear
Fear inside is something there robs of things never dared. We wanted to but could not go, because of this we would not know. Tremblin' mind Tears unshed were held inside for many years. I wanted to but did not say , scared to believe it was the way. Oh, it was the way.
What would they those people think, would they think that you are week. You did not tell someone you cared, how much they meant to you when there. Now they've gone away today, you had your chance but did not say.

Tall Man
Tall man walk a short road, look into the moonlight and watch his shadow go. He moves aloan on a deserted street, the one where most people won't be seen. The one where most people won't be seen.

Dreams I've Been Dreamin
Well its been such a long time, so many years, since I left on that highway left you in tears.
Well I wasn't there to hold your hand, nor shelter you from fears, from your fears.

As time passed by & I lost my way, I drifted in & out of reality every day.

Well it's been now almost 30 years. When I thought
I knew it all, and I left my home.
I had these thoughts, deep in my mind. I needed to see

Well I was so young, so young indeed. It didn't take me long
to find that needle & that spoon.Plenty of alcohol, pills and weed. Everything I figured, I would ever need.

I'd listen to that LYNRYD SKYNYRD BAND, but I forgot to
take there message in my hand.
When Ronnie sung " OWE THAT SMELL" I never realized that death surrounded me.

There's a Spirit that moves me. Without it I may not be this way!

Still Water Pond
As I cast a pebble upon a pond, Still Water vanished the pebble
was gone. Reflections of a young man diappeared, they'ld
be gone.
With the ripples that travelled, the drifter was gone. He travelled for years as he sauntered along. With time he cast thunder as
hurried along. Days of Still Water were gone.
Well it seemed like a long time ago. When he broke that Still Water just barely afloat.
OH Lord how do I get home?? How do I get home??
Life seemed a hurricane. Then he heard The Voice. Go on back to the pond were Still Water broke.
He escaped from the storm that he lived in so long. As he opened
up his Soul to The Voice that he'd heard Oh so strong.
Found Himself back at Still Water Pond. Still Water Pond, Still Water Pond. Still Water Pond!!
Dancin In The Light
When two people fall in love there's nothin' you can say. They know there loves with Spirit today.

Days go by and people say it seems kinda strange that there love for each other doesn't change.

Well it was many years ago. I decided it was time to
leave home. I stood at the crossroads with all I owned.
I thought I was by myself but I was not alone.

Kingdom There.

Hard Times Made The Good Times
I don't see much of the driftin' kind upon them roads anymore. The ones that moved from town to town never carin' where there bound. Sleepin' underneath a bridge any place that's what we did. Any place that's what we did.
Oh them hard times made the good times make the memories that I know. Ya them hard times made the good times make the memories that I know.
Hard work was easy to find we'd just look for the railroad line. Stay a while & make your pay then you'ld best be on your way. Ya you'ld best be on your way.
There we're many nights in the dimness of the jailhouse lights. I would have to take the rebel way just to make it through the day. Just to make it through the day.
In the fall time in the meadows just beneath those mountain tops . We would gather all together just to pick that magic crop. Just to pick the magic crop.
